Hello, I'm Freddie Johnson and this is my website. Thanks for coming by to visit. I hope you will take the time to sample the songs on my new CD, The Big House On Gold Street on Highest Mountain Records. The CD is a collection of thirteen original moving, powerful, and scripturally accurate songs published by CrossBloodSpirit Music, BMI.  Earlier, I said the CD was mine. That's not entirely true. It actually belongs to Jesus Christ, as all things do.

Some of the songs are rousing country gospel numbers that will make it hard for you to stay still when you hear them. Others are soft and gentle ballads and a couple of them even have a slight contemporary feel. The common thread that binds them all together is the fact that each of the songs is straight out of the Bible. Give them a listen and I'm confident you will agree.

I have been a musician most of my life, but I misused the gift of talent Christ gave me on the temporary pleasures of this life. As is always true with sin, one thing led to another and I eventually became overwhelmed by my addiction to narcotics. That addiction led me to a courtroom and then to a prison. In fact, the songs on The Big House On Gold Street were all written inside a prison. No, I never physically harmed anyone, but I caused a lot of pain to those who loved me. And itʼs always of paramount importance to remember that the blood of Christ Jesus turns the stain of all sin sparkling white.

My hope and prayer is that this site will be like a well, or an oasis, a place where all who are spiritually thirsty can come and drink of the hope and encouragement that's here and leave with a lighter heart. It's a place where you can contact me and ask for prayer or contact me and just talk to another Christian.
